One of my favorite pastimes is the art of people watching. I can settle comfortably in a cosy pub, nursing a drink, and observe a myriad of faces and diverse body shapes as they wander past. Each individual seems like a walking story, a tapestry of life experiences. I indulge in the notion that I possess a keen eye for discerning personalities, gauging them simply by the way they hold themselves—whether with a confident stride or a timid shuffle. As I observe more intently, examining the subtleties of their form and attire, I often glean hints of their background, imagining the journey that has sculpted their presence in the world.

I'm not entirely certain where this curiosity of mine originated. I like to believe it's tied to my enjoyment of meeting new people and serves as an extension of my attempt to gauge someone before we even exchange words. It's a natural instinct we all possess, often without realising it, and as much as I dislike admitting it, first impressions truly do matter.

So, if you happened to glimpse me lounging on my bed with my legs splayed around my head in an unusual position, I wonder what thoughts would cross your mind? Ideally, you'd see me as someone adventurous and feel an immediate urge to spend time with me, and perhaps even chuckle at the unexpected scene.
