The Great Advent Calendar Meltdown (December 11, 2025)
Hey guys xx So my very lovely friend decided to treat me to a Hotel Chocolat advent calendar.
I know… fancy, right?
Anyone who knows me knows I’m not picky when it comes to chocolate, give me anything from silky luxury truffles to Tesco’s 89p “mystery flavour” chocolates and I’m happy. Honestly, if it’s brown and melts in my mouth, I’m there.

By the time I remembered, I opened the little cardboard door for Day 1 and instead of a cute chocolate shape, I was greeted by a warm, glossy puddle of cocoa chaos.
It had oozed, slid, dripped and pooled its way through the plastic like it was trying to escape.
The entire bottom row looked like the calendar had experienced a very slow, slightly erotic chocolate death.
So now I’ve basically got a £15 tray of chocolate fondue.
Classy, I know.
