As a lover of 18th century literature, as too, are some of my clients, I really can't contain myself when it comes to Jane Austen's unfinished novel, "Sanditon."
The great lady writer started it and the illustrious screenplay writer writer, Andrew Davies (of "Pride and Prejudice" fame) and his team of writers finished it to produce, what is, in my opinion, the best and most sparkling of her novels.
Set against the backdrop of a growing, South West coastal, village, it charts the journey of Charlotte Heywood, the Parker family, Lady Denham and the town's inhabitants as they endeavour to transform "Sanditon" whilst navigating their personal lives.
Starring Rose Williams, Kris Marshall and Anne Reid, with a fabulous supporting cast, "Sanditon" is a beautiful story and can be viewed on ITVX.
If you are a lover of Jane Austen, I heartily recommend you watch this masterpiece.
Austen did not finish writing it but Andrew Davies and his team did great justice to its completion and transmission to screen.
I urge persuasion and ask you to use your sense and sensibility to watch it.
