Q : I can't afford your rates! Will you take 50 instead?
A : No. I don't often accept 15 minute bookings in the first place because I can only offer a very limited number of bookings per day. This is about discretion and the number of people coming and going from wherever I am staying that week. It is not worth the stress of trying to cover my expenses from taking loads of cheap bookings! I prefer to have one or two longer bookings. This is far more discrete. I also try to schedule gaps of half an hour or longer in between bookings, as I think the experience is more pleasant if nobody is crossing each other on the stairs, and I've had time for a quick shower between appointments! So you could look at the higher rate as covering this "dead time" in between sessions. Unless I shifted to a "cue in the waiting room" model, if I hired an office instead(!) and get a PA to manage my inbox, in still basically giving you an hour's time, even if you only visit for 5 minutes. I spend a lot of time on my inbox, which means I can't do much webcam, so I'm also losing income merely by being available to meet.
