Coastline and Chaos (February 24, 2026)
Hi everyone,
It’s been a little while since my last blog and quite a lot has changed!
I’ve been travelling around Spain for the past couple of months, which has felt like a total reset. I’ve really enjoyed the change of scenery. The weather is so much nicer than back home, the sea is right there, and I’ve been spending my days wandering around taking photos like a proper tourist. My favourite activity in the world is watching the sunset, which Spain is incredible for.
I still can’t believe I’m actually doing this. Some days I feel like a proper grown up, and other days I’m just a 23 year old who’s a bit out of her depth (especially when I managed to break my phone, which was classic me). I’ve loved every chaotic minute, though.
From Barcelona to Alicante, the coast is really beautiful and it’s been an incredibly peaceful couple of months. I’ve been exploring everywhere with Zach Bryan’s new album as a perfectly timed soundtrack. I could talk about his music for hours, but if you happen to be a fan… Cannonball is probably my favourite song from the album, or Runny Eggs. It’s difficult to choose. My AirPods have lived in my ears for two months straight now, so my playlists have been refined to perfection.
I’m trying to live quite normally while I’m here, long walks by the sea, gym when I can, and attempting not to live on takeaways (the Spanish food is making that a struggle though). Glovo is the JustEat of back home and it's very good!
This trip has definitely opened up my love for travelling. I used to think that I was a stay at home type person, but I’m already thinking about where to head next.
