Flavia Pepper’s Scottish Adventures (July 10, 2026)
When I decided to move to Scotland, I never imagined I would experience so many unforgettable adventures.
Every place I visit makes me fall even more in love with this country. The scenery is simply breathtaking. Forests, mountains, rivers and landscapes that look as though they’ve come straight out of a film. Every trip leads me to somewhere even more beautiful than the last.
This time, I had an experience that I know I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
Anyone who knows me knows there’s one thing I’ve always been genuinely terrified of: heights. I’m the sort of person who gets nervous just standing on a chair. I’ve always admired people who enjoy extreme adventures, but I never imagined I’d have the courage to try one myself.
Despite being absolutely terrified, I decided to accept the challenge.
I walked across suspended platforms through the treetops, crossed swaying bridges, tackled a series of aerial obstacles and finished the adventure on a zip wire launching from 147 feet high — roughly the height of a 15-storey building.
As I looked down, my first thought was:
“What the fuck am I doing up here?” ??
I took a deep breath, trusted the instructors and simply went for it.
Within seconds, my fear began to turn into an incredible feeling of freedom. It reminded me that our greatest limitations are often the ones we create in our own minds.
Sadly, I can’t reveal the location because of the platform’s rules. However, if we ever have the opportunity to meet in person, I’d love to tell you the full story and show you all the photos from this unforgettable adventure.
I have to admit that my heart already feels a little heavy. These may be my final weeks in Scotland. I still don’t know where my next destination will be, but until then I want to make the most of every single moment, discover new places and create memories I’ll treasure forever.
