Wow… where's time going? I've thought about writing a blog several times, for it to remain just that, a thought. If something seems like too much hard work I refrain from doing it. I wonder if I'm lazy or wise? Am I going with the flow, or is it a case of better the devil you know?

I should also apologise here for all the emails I've not replied to, either through time being passed or lack of effort on my part. Sorry.

What have I been doing for the last 8 months? Well, there's been some counselling, looking after myself better, an 18kg weight increase, a holiday abroad and some work related changes. Pretty heavy stuff (no pun intended!) This is the biggest I've ever been and I must admit to liking it. This might sound strange but I feel like a real person now instead of a wisp in the wind and it's changed how I experience life, for better and for worse, naturally.

I'm more comfortable in myself but more uncomfortable with the outside world. The joy in simple things is beautiful, yet my depression is undeniable. Being careful has served me, however being careless still has its lessons. What a process!
