When I first began, I was full of passion but short on confidence. I truly believed credibility came from the size of the studio, the shine of the equipment, the price tag on the kit. If I had the best tools, surely that would make me a “Professional.” I invested in everything. The lighting. The space. The aesthetics. I convinced myself the kit was the attraction.

How wrong I was.

Behind all that gloss, I was still quietly wondering: Will they actually come for me?

Owning my own studio felt powerful. It looked impressive. It gave me something to hide behind. But what I didn’t realise at the time was that the magic was never in the room — it was in the energy I brought to it.

Since moving back to a more intimate, domestic setting, something has shifted. Something sensual. Something real.

People still come.

But now they’re coming for me.

For my hands.
For my mind.
For my presence.
For the way I make them feel seen, understood… and maybe just a little bit wicked.

And that realisation? It’s intoxicating.

I’ve stopped performing the version of myself I thought clients wanted. I’ve stepped away from the services I offered simply because I believed they were “expected.” Instead, I’m leaning into what lights me up — what excites me, challenges me, makes me feel alive.

And when you work from that place? The energy is magnetic.

Recently, a new client walked into my world and gently — deliciously — opened my eyes again. We’ve both been discovering things about ourselves. For me, it turns out I adore surprises. Not because of their price tag — the value is irrelevant — but because of the thought behind them. The quiet intention. The subtle appreciation.
